hi, i hope you don't mind me leaving you a comment. i've been going to missiongathering for a few months now and really enjoy it, and i love your band. i was just wondering why you play the same songs every week. not that theyre not really awesome songs, but maybe a little more variety? i know its hard to teach a congregation new songs but i think we're up for the challenge. and i noticed you have a particular liking to the david crowder band, i was wondering if you ever consider branching out to jars of clay or something like silas or maybe even as far out as switchfoot? i don't mean to be rude or unappreciative, and i know you guys are busy, maybe you dont have time to learn a new song? either way, you do an amazing job. thanks for sharing so much with us. - danielle

Hey danielle. Thanks for your comment. For the last year we have been really working on creating a foundation of songs that we will sing. If we are going to sing as a community, we want to make sure that those songs represent our community. Thats why we dont just pull off of the recent "Top 40" list of worship songs. In the midst of that, we've played songs ranging from Crowder to Tomlin to Pritzl to Desperation Band. All of which have come to be a foundation as to what we are choosing to sing about. With that said, I agree that some new material is going to be great. We work hard not to leave anyone out but also challenge ourselves and our community to grow. So thanks for your comment, keep them coming. I love the dialogue. I hope you are up for the challenge... because new stuff is on its way....
